Purpose of Elite Africa

How do Elite Africa serve the community?

To co-operate with education institutions, NGO’s, philanthropic entities, social enterprises, and tourism boards established to encourage students to take work placements within Africa

To co-operate with education institutions, NGO’s, philanthropic entities, social enterprises, and tourism boards established to encourage people to visit different countries in Africa and to encourage people yet to visit Africa, to take their holidays on the continent of Africa.

To organise special events for the achievement of Elite Africa objects. This can include but is not limited to lectures, podcasts, live casts, cultural gatherings, educational projects, community workshops, festivals, trade events, conferences, exhibitions, concerts for the preservation and/or advancement of public education in building a successful company, charity and/or career within Africa.

To co-operate with National/Government entities, philanthropic entities, business entities, education institutions and other socially inclusive organisation entities to organise special events and programs that encourage, give the required knowledge, contacts and relocation support to motivated and skilled individuals who want to move and work in Africa permanently, contributing to the upskilling of Africa’s social and economic infrastructure.

To co-operate with philanthropic entities, business entities, education institutions and other socially inclusive organisation to provide programs and initiatives established to help students living in Africa and facing socio-economic hardships increase their employability and improve their future career prospects via educational/sports intern/scholarships or work-based apprenticeship programs.

To advocate for the fair and equal social integration of African women into business at local, regional, and national levels. To advocate for equality of human beings and for equal access to community & national resources without distinction of gender, tribal affiliation, religious beliefs, creed, or social status.

Providing social, cultural, sporting, and recreational activities and forums for discussions and debate for the personal development of enrolled students.

To co-operate with philanthropic entities, private entities and socially inclusive entities which support the furtherance of Elite Africa objectives and growth of our Elite Africa Alumni community. To pro-actively support the African business community’s collective contribution towards the global economy and African/Diaspora trade relationships, whilst helping to provide marketing and networking opportunities that improve diplomatic relations with local, regional government and foreign diplomat offices, create new opportunities and open new doors that attract new support for Elite Africa objectives.

The advancement of education of enrolled students or alumni of Elite Africa who are from socio-disadvantaged communities in financial need, through the provision of scholarships, exhibitions, bursaries, maintenance allowances or grants tenable at any school, university, college of education, or other institution of further (including professional, sporting, and technical) education approved for the purpose by the Elite Africa trustee panel.

To co-operate with philanthropic entities, business entities, education institutions and other socially inclusive organisations, established to: a) to advance education and training in all aspects of knowledge by means of (but not limited to) the making of grants, including the establishment of scholarships and prizes, and other like awards. b) to advance scientific or medical research, on the condition that all useful results of such scientific or medical research are published, and education in scientific or medical research by means of (but not limited to) the making of grants, including the establishment of scholarships and prizes, and other like awards.

Deliver multiple training pathways to meet national skills strategies for employers and learners covering apprenticeship/intern/scholarship programs across a number of skill sectors (including agriculture, manufacturing, infrastructure, logistics, engineering, automotive, construction, finance brokerage and business administration) and Entrepreneurship Programs (including Start My Business & Financial Literacy for high performance environments) and other programs designed to increase employability and provide a structured, flexible and comprehensive learning process which covers all skills needed to be or remain an valuable asset in the workplace.

To co-operate with sporting entities, sports legends, philanthropic entities, education institutions and other socially inclusive organisations committed to providing the best opportunities for people from all walks of life to develop their full potential, particularly through sport. To put in place a new generation of modern facilities in community spaces, local leagues and schools; to provide scholarship preparation support to increase participation in professional Football/Soccer, American Football, Baseball and Basketball, and to strengthen the links between international sports and the community and to harness its potential as a force for good in society.

To provide and promote social and community welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation and enjoyment of the arts with the object of improving the conditions of life of people who are disadvantaged by youth, age, infirmity or disablement, poverty, or social and economic circumstances.

To co-operate with sporting entities, registered sports agents, philanthropic entities, education institutions and other socially inclusive organisations in the achievement of their charitable objectives, in particular those charities or charitable objectives that have a connection with professional clubs and sporting franchises who are competing in professional sporting leagues and competitions around the globe.

To co-operate with philanthropic entities, business entities, education institutions and other socially inclusive organisation with credible programs and initiatives established to help contribute to the relief of sickness, advancing health and saving lives throughout Ghana and elsewhere in Africa; Providing for the relief of poverty, financial hardship and social exclusion in Ghana and elsewhere in Africa. Advancing public education, research and training aimed at raising awareness of social issues including but not limited to mental health, gender based violence, modern day slavery and human trafficking; For the purpose of this clause 'social exclusion' means being excluded from society, or parts of society, as a result of one of more of the following factors: financial hardship; gender, disability, poor housing (that is housing that does not meet basic habitable standards); or crime (either as a victim of a gender based violence crime, modern day slavery or human trafficking rehabilitating into society). Relieving the suffering of young people suffering from poverty and low employability resources in socio-disadvantaged communities throughout Ghana and elsewhere in Africa and helping them advance in life in order to relieve the financial hardship of their immediate families.

To act as a resource for young people up to the age of 25 from socio-economically disadvantaged communities living in Ghana, elsewhere throughout Africa and the wider African Diaspora by providing advice and assistance and organising programs of physical, educational and other activities as a means of: (a) advancing in life and helping young people by developing their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as independent, mature and responsible individuals; (b) advancing education; (c) relieving unemployment; (d) providing recreational and leisure time activity in the interests of social welfare for people living in the area of benefit who have need by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disability, poverty or social and economic circumstances with a view to improving the conditions of life of such persons.

To act as a resource for young people up to the age of 25 from socio-economically disadvantaged communities living in Ghana, elsewhere throughout Africa and the wider African Diaspora by providing advice and assistance and organising programs of physical, educational and other activities as a means of: (a) advancing in life and helping young people by developing their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as independent, mature and responsible individuals; (b) advancing education; (c) relieving unemployment; (d) providing recreational and leisure time activity in the interests of social welfare for people living in the area of benefit who have need by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disability, poverty or social and economic circumstances with a view to improving the conditions of life of such persons.

To co-operate and partner with philanthropic entities, business entities, education institutions and other socially inclusive organisations with programs and initiatives established to (a) advocate against deep-rooted inequalities in business for women. (b) provide start-up and capital resources to women intending to start their own business and/or social entities (c) increase employability and provide a structured, flexible and comprehensive learning process which covers all skills needed to be or remain an valuable asset in when employed in the public, private or voluntary roles at community, regional, national and global levels.

Increase public awareness and relationship with Elite Africa mission whilst multiplying year-on-year the number of donors that will donate funds, donate in-kind, and engage with our fundraising initiatives, programs and events.

Contribute to improving the socioeconomic conditions within our communities so that residents can have functional communities to create a future, raise a family, work and live in peace.

Provide internships/scholarship/training programs focused on Manufacturing to students in Ghana, elsewhere within Africa and the wider African diaspora. Place emphasis on how assets are grown, sustained and how value is added to raw materials by manufacturers during a transformation process. Provide business start-up and mentorship programs for graduating students who are motivated to establish manufacturing plants within Africa that utilise local resources and inputs, turning them into outputs that customers are prepared to pay for locally, regionally & globally.

Provide education/training to enrolled and alumni students on the role and use of Commercial Finance in business. Provide education and promote literacy on accessing and managing finance. Provide education and promote literacy on the roles of commercial finance brokers and intermediary finance agents in business.

The assistance of enrolled students who are in need, hardship or distress. The prevention and relief of poverty whilst studying on the Elite Africa program within Africa or Abroad by providing student accommodation bursaries and employability support for enrolled students from socio-economically disadvantaged communities in necessitous circumstances appropriate to their means.

To advance the education of the public, to contribute towards the improvement of digital infrastructure/resources throughout Africa and to facilitate co-operation among girls and boys under the age of 25 interested in establishing a sustainable future in the computing sector by (a) advancing the study, application and standing of computer skills, computer programming/coding, software, website and mobile app development; (b) advance the study, application and standing of forensic computing and network engineering skills; (c) awarding to such persons scholarships, means tested bursaries or grants for attending computer literacy, forensic computing, network engineering and programming lessons offered via an Elite Africa hosted program, the usual place of education or at an accredited university, college or an institution of higher or further education; (d) providing or assisting in the provision of classroom facilities, online training environments, IT equipment and qualified teachers for computer literacy, forensic computing, network engineering, programming and other complimentary skillsets, at Elite Africa education facilities or facilities provided by accredited partner entities selected by the Elite Africa trustees; (e) providing their education, to undertake travel in furtherance of that education or to prepare for entry to any occupation, trade or profession on leaving any educational establishment; (f) promoting sustainable means of achieving financial independence, and self-employment in computing/digital sector; (g) and educating Elite Africa students in Intellectual Property, Digital sector business finance and digital sector employment skills.

To advance education for the public benefit in the use and understanding of forensic computing services and how digital programming/coding languages are used in our everyday lives within Ghana and elsewhere within Africa by: (a) Organising, presenting and promoting forensic, coding and programming related conferences, meetings and events at venues within Ghana and elsewhere within Africa, (b) Supporting and promoting forensic, coding and programming related projects and events organised by credible entities, Elite Africa students and Alumni, and, (c) Supporting Elite Africa programming students and alumni wishing to represent Elite Africa at internationally recognized coding, programming, hackathon and hardware engineering competitions, industry award shows, related conferences, meetings and events.

To advance the education of the public in technology and engineering by promoting the use of computers, information technology, digital skills and innovation in particular but not exclusively, by supporting and promoting credible coding/programming conferences, hackathons, hardware engineering competitions, meetings and events that Elite Africa and partner entities are co-hosting within Africa.

Provide Alumni association that (a) hosts annual yearly student/alumni awards highlighting outstanding achievement of team members, undergraduate students and alumni (b) brings former students together to maintain a connection with the Elite Africa program and fellow graduates (c) support and advocate for the interests and welfare of students throughout their course of study and (d) Provide activities that include; representation, welfare, sporting activities, cultural awareness, volunteering, skills development, campaigning, social activities and entertainment, media, fundraising, employment/employability, accommodation, safety, food & drink, job market days, sustainability initiatives, equality and emancipation initiatives.

To co-operate with philanthropic entities, business entities, education institutions and other socially inclusive initiatives to establish mentorship program that guides enrolled students throughout their development cycle and beyond into their professional careers.

To provide and promote social and community welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation and enjoyment of the arts with the object of improving the conditions of life of people who are disadvantaged by youth, age, infirmity or disablement, poverty, or social and economic circumstances.
